How to set priorities for design requests

Modified on Sun, 18 May at 10:26 AM

Learn how to use priority statuses in order to dictate what designs your team works on next.

Most brands don't work with 1 design at a time. It's most common for brands to keep a queue of 5-10 design requests at all times. But with all these design requests, how do you ensure the proper designs get worked on first?

Priority Statuses

Each request you submit has a priority status option that you can select. The options are:

  • High - Worked on first

  • Medium - Worked on second

  • Low - Worked on last

By default, there is no priority set. For requests without a priority set, we'll always work on the oldest requests and revisions first.

If all your requests are set to high priority, we will work on the oldest requests out of that category first. For this reason, we recommend to only use a high priority status for 1-3 designs a time, depending on the amount of 'design requests at a time' that come with your plan.

How to set the priority

  1. Go to the design portal

  2. Enter your design request

  3. Adjust the 'priority' drop down to your desired priority

Important notes

  • Design priority changes will always take effect on the next day. The deadline for changing priority is 7:00 am PST.

  • We will always work on the oldest requests first if there are too many priority statuses set, or if there are no priority statuses set

That's it! Now you're prepared to set priorities on your requests, so you can better organize what gets completed first.
